Dave Scott is chairman and a founder of the Uechi-Ryu Karate Association (GB) having achieved his dan grade training in Okinawa with some of the most respected instructors, notably Kanei Uechi son of Kanbun Uechi. Dave established the Liverpool dojo in 1975.

Steve started training in Uechi-Ryu in Liverpool in 1976 with Dave Scott. He trained with Sensei George Mattson in 1979 and is now a senior instructor at the Liverpool dojo.

Stephen began training in Uechi-Ryu in Liverpool under Danny Haigh, Steve McNally and Dave Scott. He has trained with top instuctors including Sensei's George Mattson (US) and Karl Ayliffe (AUS). He is now an instructor at the Liverpool dojo.
